Wise
This is a bit of a cliche, but I thought I would include the picture anyway. It is a watercolor painting of the Sawwhet Owl. The sawwhet owl is also called the "Tame Owl" because it does not take flight during the presense of people. Whether that is a wise decision or not, I don't know.

I like the William Morris quality of this. I want to go visit this tame owl.
This painting is actually based on personal observations of the bird. They (both) occurred in southern Louisiana about this time of the year after the nesting season is over and the species does a mini dispersal. One was seen in a friend's backyard in the city of New Orleans and one was sighted during a boat trip out onto Lake Henderson.
